JV sport... all four years of HS?

Should I just quit in my third year? Because it's looking like I'm going to be stuck on JV Swim for all four years. Take my word for it, esp. since I refuse and am incapable of doing water polo.

So basically how bad does it look to do a JV sport the first two year of HS, then quit /or/ to do a JV sport all four years of HS?

If you like it. Do it. That simple. Don't worry about anything else. And you have a shot at being captain.

^ no i like it.... after season; like, i'll be like "swim season was soo fun". i don't like it during season cos i suck D:

zero chance at becoming captainn.

If you like it do it. Unless it's a major confliction with academics

I'd stick with it. At least it shows you're determined. If you have the money why not get a personal coach and work especially hard over the summer? If practicing swim like we have to practice music, then you should improve quickly. (I don't know what goes into practicing swim.)

At our school, at least, JV tennis works just as hard as Varsity, so in terms of commitment, colleges will probably see the same.

JV for two years and you're still not in varsity wow

Yea swimming is a sport where you can be pretty good, but there will always be a bunch of people who swam a lot of their lives getting the varsity letters because they make everyone else look like crap, depending on where you live mostly... (socal)

I'd still do it just to stay fit & sexy lol
Who knows, maybe you will improve to varsity standards? Maybe your coach will give you a letter just for being so hard working and dedicated.

Honestly unless you're being recruited/going to play in college, all that matters is your dedication. If you like it, do it.

i did JV track for two years and quit because i hated it. keep on doing it if you like it. quit it if you don't think it's worth it.
