Kaplan ACT class

I just got a 27 on the ACT. Will the kaplan class actually help me get a 31 or higher? i just enrolled.

It might, but I have no faith in them because I just received somebody else's score report for Kaplan's free ACT administered at my school in the envelope I put my name and address on. Yeah, people can make mistakes, but it's a pretty strong first impression.

So should i take it? or should i just cancel

If you had recently got a 27, your chances of improving your score by 4 points is rare. It's possible I guess, if you made easy mistakes, and you could possibly guess right on a few, but I doubt that class will help you that much

Yeah, i have barely studied for that ACT. I got lowest on math last time. i think the test can help me increase that by a lot.

It isnt really the class that will increase your score that much-it is you that will need to put in the hard work.

If you can put in the hours upon hours it takes to move your score 4 points, then you dont need Kaplan or any other course, but if you think that being in a class will help you to complete the hours of hard work then by all means do it.

4 points is a tall order. It can and has been done, but probably 2-3 points is typical for a student who really commits herself to preparing for the ACT, unless there is some reason to believe that your ACT score was negatively affected by something endogenous to that test.

Thank you guys, I BELIEVE!!! i can do this becuase the test i got a 27 on was the state test and i put no effort for review. That is why i think studying now will help me increase my score by a lot.
