Wherever I look, whoever I ask it is always "Kaplan doesn't worth the effort and time."
"If you get some 700 points on Kaplan you are actually getting 500 on the real SAT test."

Now, would you be so kind to clear this for me: is the problem in the scoring of Kaplan's tests or is it in the tests, in the material that they provide?

I've been working with Kaplan for several weeks and my date is approaching fast. So I need to know: Am I wasting my time with it?

Well, you should probably move to the Official SAT Study Guide if you haven’t already. That statement about Kaplan is grossly exaggerated though. I have taken a Kaplan SAT prep course, and while it didn’t majorly help me in increasing my score to the 2300+ range the practice still helped. I would say subtract 50 points from your score since it is the grading that is inaccurate in Kaplan’s tests.

I took a Kaplan SAT class and I felt that their in class instruction wasn’t that helpful. However, I found their practice test to be harder so when I took the SAT my overall score was about 300 points higher than my highest Kaplan practice test score. Would I recommend their classes? No, you can easily take hard practice test without taking a class.
