I just got an e-mail about this program, and I'm kind of confused about what it is. Does anyone have any insight about this program?

did everyone get sent this, or just a select few?

The NU 2015 facebook group consensus is that it was sent to a group of Weinberg and SoC accepted students, but not all.

Both the email and the Kaplan website say that the program is open to any freshman.

Nope, not really, the website and email make it clear it’s only for Weinberg and SoC students. And since not all accepted students received the email, it seems likely that while everyone is permitted to apply, not everyone received the invitation.

Only open to WCAS freshman now, from my understanding (I work at the Kaplan Institute).

And all are welcome, but the selection is generally from the very top of the matriculating student pool.

Correction to my previous post: Program now open to SoC, Bienen, AND WCAS students.
