Are the scores on Kaplan practice tests a good indicator of one's score on the real SAT. I've heard that Kaplan's tests are harder and therefore the scores are lower. How do the scores compare?

I felt that kaplan was erratic and some what off. My scores varied largly on kaplan's test and I also felt that it was not that close to the actual sat.

at my SAT Prep class at school we use Kaplan tests and so far we've only taken the ACT one and I do worse on them than the actual ACT.

and Kaplan has been known to be inaccurate on what I've read on CC.

thanks for the replies. How inaccurate are the scores? 100 points? 2 points on the ACT?

A girl I know took the Kaplan SAT prep class which included five full-length practice tests. On her last one, she scored just under 2100. She scored over 2200 on the real test. She says Kaplan's practice tests are harder, and credits doing the practice tests for a huge score increase.

thanks, anyone else with insight?

i found kaplan ?s to be harder too. i'm sure it helps but it makes practice much more difficult.

Kaplan has an improved score guarentee
