KCL Law

Anyone here wish to share their thoughts/experiences about the English/American law program offered at KCL.

I know a little bit about it from the open day. The presenter stated that only two students can take part in the exchange annually, so it’s naturally very competitive. In addition, you must be in a position to afford the tuition and living expenses.

Thanks for that info. I knew it was competitive but just two students annually, wow.
Are you considering KCL?

Yes, but I intend to apply in the next application cycle (starting university in 2015). I was thinking more of the LSE – the LL.B and JD is open to UCL, KCL and LSE students. Also, Columbia Law School looks at your A Level (or equivalent) grades, so they should be excellent too.

You might like to have a look at The Student Room. There are (very active) forums over there both for KCL and law courses.

I remember reading on the KCL website once that “american citizens are not accepted for the JD/LLB 4 year program”. I’m not sure whether that rule still stands, though.

It still does, unfortunately.

any idea if UCL have this rule as well?

I don’t think so, but I do think they favour British nationals.
