Keck Selected as National Center on Elder Abuse

<p>The U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services has selected the USC Keck School of Medicine as the new National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA). A grant will fund programs which include technical assistance to states and organizations and conduct research and advocate policy changes on behalf of older adults.</p>

<p>The director of the center will be Dr. Laura Mosqueda, Chair of the Department of Family Medicine and Geriatrics at Keck.
Her team of Keck physicians will collaborate with the USC Davis School of Gerontology, the American Bar Association and other organizations dedicated to supporting an aging America.</p>

<p>USC is the sole grant recipient for the national center.</p>
