Keeping cash after

<p>I just registered on this forum sorry if I posted this in the wrong place but I'm just wondering if I can actually use the whole range of aid available to me at UCF and if I can take the rest for savings/other expenses.</p>

<p>As background I:
Have Florida Pre-Paid
Qualify for Bright Futures
Am Hispanic
Got a 227 on the PSAT and a 2040 overall on the SAT
I'm going into Senior year at a boarding military academy (Valley Forge Military Academy)
I have about 250-300 service hours at a local hospital over the past few years
I have to calculate my GPA but it must be around a 4.2 weighted; 3.7 unweighted</p>

<p>So with that background, if I were to go to UCF, would I be able to take part of/all of the left over scholarship money for savings/expenses?</p>

<p>Very likely, yes. Since the money is from a pre-paid and scholarships, you probably can. Check UCF’s website and see if they reduce their NMF scholarship for any reason. </p>

<p>Are you only considering UCF for their NMF scholarship or are you considering other schools?</p>
