Kelley Direct Admit

I just got my direct admission into KSB and I'm still waiting to hear back from other colleges before making a decision. What are the benefits of doing a finance and entrepreneurship double major from Kelley, and what are the benefits of being a direct admit?

Hey, did you take classes at IU before getting into Kelley?

No. I’m a high school senior. I applied directly into the school.

Ohh i see. Well, I am a transfer student. I heard I still have to take courses at IU Bloomington before getting into Kelley…which I am not doing. Most of the classes I have already taken, so why repeat them twice.

Well I don’t know much. But KSB is a top teir business program from my research.

Your login name caught my eye, as we are also from northern CA. My son just completed his first semester at IU as a KDA, and is having a great experience so far. He enjoyed his classes and really likes the campus/Bloomington. He made a conscious decision to attend college in a different part of the country, and Kelley’s reputation was also a factor. He loves the hype surrounding Hoosier basketball and has made friends from all over. One thing about Kelley is that you will have more geographical (even international) diversity than you might expect to find at a public university. Good luck with your decision!
