My application reads that my school is kelley and my major is finance. Does that mean I'm automatically considered for direct admit? And does the direct admit decision just come in a letter or online? I'm planning on using the form from the kelley website to petition to get in, but the deadline is April 1 and I want to know my decision asap first.
I'm very confused about this process. There doesn't seem to be much information on it.
Thanks.

i just got an email from iu "Congratulations from Indiana University" saying that i am in.
my admissions packet will be sent to me by courier.

See my reply to neuromom in the thread entitled "direct admit - confused". I think this will explain how things work. And congratulations upon your acceptance to Indiana University.

As a further clarification, you are automatically considered for direct admit if you meet Kelley's rules for direct admit, which are listed here:

Also, you will be considered for additional scholarships if you are admitted as a direct admit to Kelley. This is also automatic I believe--although they will ask you to fill out some additional information if you fall into that category.

I was checking the Direct Admit to Kelley stats. My question is are AP grades weighted? My son takes a lot of APs but gets Bs in them. The high school he attends does not weigh APs in the GPA.

ebayispaying forcollege, yes THE GRADES are WEIGHTED !!!!! Tht's how I got in! thnx Kelley.

Congradulations Zouman! And thanks for the quick response.
