I'm an intl. student from India and am confused b/w choosing from Indiana Kelley (Direct Admit with 7,000$ p.a scholarship for all 4 years but haven't yet heard from honors) and Fisher at Ohio State (Similar scholarship with Honors). Please help me if you can regarding my decision. I plan on majoring in Finance.

Somehow I feel Kelley is better by reputation......

anyway... kelley definately has a better ug bus. program than fisher, especially if u wanna go into ibanking. im making the decision between direct admit kelley (with faculty awrd) and dir admin mccombs myself right now, and i did have the opportunity to go and visit kelley; i must say tht indiana has a very nice campus. i met with reps from kelley and i was quite impressed. the ibw, as leo187um said, is top notch, and almost all of those who are in ibw get ibanking jobs or trading...pretty much whatever they like. but, getting into ibw is VERY competitive as they only take about 50 or so kids per year into the program. i live in michigan so both ut and kelley are oos for me..but you guys are international. good luck making your decision.

Indiana is a great choice, but OSU/Fisher has been improving, and it is very difficult to match its ROI - comparable only to UNC Chapel Hill. Today, I would say Fisher is a better long term choice. The current university president used to head the MBA program, and brought in one of the sharpest women in the US, ex Johnson & Johnson chairman, C. Poon to lead it. And internationally, OSU simply has a better reputation. I was also an international student, with offers from U.Chicago and Fisher, but after doing a ROI, it’s hard to beat Fisher, for Americans or international stud. If you asked me about Harvard and Fisher, then go Harvard. But in this case go Fisher. I would do all over again, and be glad it opened great doors in 2 top 10 fortune 500. I am a company worldwide president thanks, in a big way, to Fisher. Great luck, and sorry for the delay.
