Im a DA to the kelley school of business and have applied to the KLLC. If i pick my roommate and he's not a DA to the kelley school of business and has to transfer sophomore year, but wants to do KLLc, will it hurt my chances of getting in the KLLc?

As long as he applied to live in the KLLC, it won’t hurt your chances. The KLLC is designed to be only about half DA’s.

@hkem123 So, I’m a DA but does that mean less spots are available to me now if they have to fill some quota?

Just thoughtfully complete the application and you should be fine. Only people I have talked to that didn’t get in the KLLC were those that blew off the application/essays.

My son was denied acceptance to the Kelley LLC today and was not a direct admit to Kelley. Do you have any idea if there is a way to petition/dispute this?
Petition would not work.
Applying to KLLC is a crapshoot. Some best practices include:
- Apply very early.
- Don’t apply with the preference of a roommate which somehow reveals your lack of confidence. And, if your preferred roommate applies late, you get screwed.
- Don’t believe the reasons for being denied - don’t get me started on this one.
