Kelley Transfer needs help

Hi everyone,
I just got my acceptance letter to IU today, but I don't understand if I got admitted to Kelley or not. This is the email I got:

"Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you of your admission to Indiana University for the fall 2013 term. This offer of admission is contingent upon the successful completion of any present work outlined on your application. You must submit all outstanding transcripts as soon as the official transcript(s) are available. If these transcripts are not received by July 1, 2013 your admission may be cancelled. Please note that final transcripts are carefully reviewed and the offer of admission may be cancelled if there is a decline in your academic performance."

On my Student Self-Service Service site it says:
Bloomington - Fall 2013 - Undergraduate - University Div Pre-Business - Management BSB

However, I took already 90 quarter units. (2 classes of calculus, 2 classes econ, a introductory business course and the highest English courses)

My GPA is above 3.9

I don't really know what is going on, do I have to take additional courses and then apply at Kelley again??? Or did I get into Kelley?? Or do I have to contact admissions?

I’m pretty sure you’re in. My daughter is an incoming freshman direct admit to Kelly, so not sure if it’s different for transfer students. But her Student Self-Service says the same thing as yours. If I remember correctly, she got an email saying she was admitted to IU one day, and a day or two later got another email saying she was admitted to Kelley.

semikolan, you have been accepted to IU but not to Kelley. You are in the “University Division” (University Div Pre-Business), which is where most students start out before applying to schools that offer their major.

You might have to retake some of your college classes at IU in order to apply to Kelley.

D is a direct admit to another school (SPEA) and her self service is similar…university div. Pre-SPEA (or maybe the degree program). She also received notification on DA directly from the school about a week or so after her general admission to IU. when she got the DA email, it stated that she will receive an email from SPEA before May 1 asking her to accept the direct admit. Not sure if it is the same with Kelley, but it might say Pre-Business until you accept it. I’d call undergrad admissions at Kelley and just ask. Or even the general IU admissions office. They have been very helpful the few times I have called with general questions. Good luck!

Thank you guys very much for your answers  I will call IU directly on Monday.

It isn’t possible for a transfer student to get into Kelley without taking at least one semester worth of classes on the Bloomington campus.
