which group is it, i see two

Hey guys, I’m on the east coast, and I didn’t receive my letter today. Super nervous. Everyone who got theirs; where are you all from?
Antsy; I went to the Young Writers Workshop this past summer as well, which session did you go to? I was in the first one…

from north carolina here…

its the page not the group.
it has a picture of the sign
currently i’m the only fan…

rejected…congrats to all those who got in.
Anstyforcollege: I’m sure you’ll get it next time you have greats stats.
Country day: I live in North County but go to Thomas Jefferson School. Its a private college prep…

Enjoy yourselves next year guys :(

kenyonhopeful88, would you mind sharing your stats?

Ummmmm…I’d rather not…

Has anyones myapp.kenyon changed to show they got accepted?

got the purple thumbs up yesterday!! so relieved… hello to all future kenyon people

Bingo can you post your stats are at least the basic stuff?

I got in!!! Ah I’m so excited, I was so nervous walking to get the mail.

danab, I went to the first one, too! If I’m interpreting your screen name correctly, we’re definitely friends on facebook. I’ll send you a message! And judging on how awesome your writing was over the summer, I’m sure you’ll get in!
Only one person of the six who applied from my school got in, just to update you guys. 4 were deferred, 1 was rejected. Including the athlete who committed. He didn’t bother to apply to any other schools because Kenyon recruited him, promised him a spot, and now he has been deferred and is panicking. I feel awful for him.
kenyonhopeful88, just remember that it was ridiculously competitive this year. I honestly don’t understand how they made their decisions, but I’m POSITIVE that you’ll do absolutely wonderful somewhere else. I’m sorry that you have to go through this
I’m definitely not giving up on Kenyon yet. It’s been my top choice for over a year. So I hope that I will see you guys next year. Cross your fingers for me come April, and congrats time a millionthousandtrillion to everyone who made it!

antsy…what sport was your friend recruited for? That is surprising that he would be deferred as a recruited athlete.

just got my thumbs up!!! woo hooo kenyon 2015

jackne–>are you on the west coast? and woooooooo yeah lords and ladies 'fideen!

yeah I’m in california! I’m so excited to meet you all!!

It was definitely a shock for him. He committed for soccer. He honestly doesn’t know what to do, since a bunch of the schools he would have applied to have deadlines that have already passed. It’s a bad situation, but I’m sure he’ll work it out eventually. Another one of my friends was recruited at MIT and was just deferred. Apparently that’s how it works for D3 schools. If it was D1 it would be another story…ah well.

does anyone know when visit day is?

It’s in April, but only for Regular Decision admits (at least that’s what it says on the website).
