Does anyone know what the numbers are for Kenyon's wait-list this year? (How many were offered a spot, how many accepted a spot, etc.) I've heard that there were more applicants for the 2012 entering freshman class than before, as has been the case at most other LACs, and because of that yield may be high and wait-list acceptance low.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I’ve been waitlisted as well. Kenyon’s been totally quiet on the matter so far. I wouldn’t get too optimistic: I think Kenyon usually only accepts a few students off the list, if any.

I’m just trying to settle on my new school and forget about the whole admissions thing. But, you never know.

EDIT: In my waitlist letter, they did say that there are about 200 kids on the list.

2011: Accepted waitlist offers: 376 Accepted: 15
2010: Accepted waitlist offers: 0 Accepted: 0
2009: Accepted waitlist offers: 332 Accepted: 15
2008: Accepted waitlist offers: 321 Accepted: 9
2007: Accepted waitlist offers: 378 Accepted: 10

Average: Accepted waitlist offers: 281 Accepted: 10 Percentage: 3.6%

Kenyon let in only 7 wait-list kids this year

Are those 7 ‘offered’ spots or 7 accepted spots?

From context, I believe it was 7 offered spots.

Off waitlist today~!but no FA…
