Dolfingirl, I beg to differ on your point that you can't find the truth anywhere. There is a website called factcheck.org to start with. There are plenty of bloggers who are interested in finding the facts and who often have the news first before it hits the papers. Try talkingpointsmemo.com. I would also recommend PBS or NPR. The truth is there but plenty of people are trying to fog it up. The internet has changed fact checking and news and there is just no excuse anymore to be uninformed or misinformed unless of course you watch Fox or listen to Rush. If you try to get your news from various credible sources like I mentioned, you will eventually get some degree of fact.

You're completely right, Rush and FOX and the Drudge Report all just make stuff up. Someone should really put those conservatives away before they make anyone question the undoubtable truths that CBS and the rest all put out.

84% David Cobb, but only 14 % George W. Bush. Thank goodness.

Babybird if you want to have any credibility in arguing politics you won't use those sources as your guide. There are other conservative and credible sources.

I'm really excited, I wish I had access to a television right now. god bless yahoo

My number one choice is Nader, basically because I like his views on everything, but if I could vote I'd vote for Kerry because he's against the death penalty, he wants to make the war right and he's able to admit that the war is wrong, he supports same sex adoption unlike Bush (at least I think in my gov class my teacher said he did), and I liked his arguements in the debates.

My state voted 81% Kerry, heh

Oh jeez it's close. I hope Kerry gets Florida and Ohio! I'm proud to say my state is Kerry's

hmm id have to say go republicans.

down with the dirty democrats!

now now, lets not call people dirty! ...cough cough dirty cough cough republicans cough cough

from cnn.com

Bush-197
Kerry-188

Bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUSH 207!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kerry- 199

from msnbc.com

this is so awesome

i refuse to call it, even though it's so obvious

and lizschup-- the sad thing is, those sources are credible. when one of them has a scandal like Rathergate, then I'll stop trusting them

Ahhh! The Senate and the House have gone to the GOP. I hope Ohio doesn't. It'll be a dark 4 years if it does. :(

Bush Wins!!!!
Ya

Yay, Bush wins....sigh of relief...

hold your tounges boys and girls the race is not over.

current count: Bush: 249 Kerry: 242

Ohio has been rolled back to too close to call, with anywhere between 150,000 -400,000 provisional votes to be counted after 11 days

not even the Kerry camp claimed 400,000

The Kerry camp said 250,000 tops...even if they are right, Kerry'd have to get at least 75-80%, and that's highly unlikely.

Then you count the remaining absentee ballots on top of that, and those almost always break for the GOP.

I hope none of those old supreme court justices decide to retire in the next 4 years because then we're in for it.

well, rehnquist is conservative anyway.
