<p>I applied. I don't think I did so well on it. I have a relatively low EFC but that's about it. The fact the money can only be used for publics is annoying as my #2 school is a public where I'm not paying very much at all.</p>
<p>yea thats why i didnt do it cuz it only did public. and my number two school is public and im not paying that much either.</p>

<p>yea, i usually dont do any of the fastweb scholarship becuase there is like no way i could win, but i decided to atleast try this one becuase i knew a lot of people wouldnt want to do all the short essays</p>
<p>Well a lot of the essays didn't apply to me haha :p. This contest is pretty moot for me now that I'm likely not going to the publc on my list.</p>
<p>Meh, it would be worth it just to say I got the KFC scholarship. I want a fast food scholarship, too bad none of my schools were publics.</p>

<p>My dad has a picture of him and the Colonel eating chicken at a Crank's drug store in missouri in the 50's. He brags he has eaten chicken with the colonel multiple times..he's famous and I'm not. </p>
<p>Seems the colonel visited many of this stores in the 50's and my dad and his two brothers were well known for being able to eat two whole chickens each at one setting. It was an all you can eat and barf buffet. </p>
<p>I'm hoping to at least get a reject letter so I can tell my dad he didn't make a very good impresson on the colonel and that's why I need him to pay more of my college costs</p>
<p>Oh dang, this only goes to public? I was going to apply for it next year but I guess I can't. Maybe it might be worth it just to say I applied for the fast food scholarship lol. So far I've applied for DuPont, AFSA Essay Contest, Oprah LOL, and the AAA Travel Challenge. So far the only one I've gotten anything from is AAA, I'm state champion and moving on to nationals, and I'm about to apply for Idea of America...crap, I better get working on that since it's due tomorrow.</p>
<p>THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS FOR A SCHOOL IN YOUR STATE, NOT A STATE SCHOOL. For example, I live in Louisiana. LSU is a state school and I can use it for that school, but I also can use it for Tulane which is a private school.</p>

<p>it's only for public schools. My school is in-state, but private. At the time I was filing it out I was likely heading to a public.</p>
