Kicked off officer team...

Hi guys,

This year I was an officer board member for Key Club. We just got results back for next year’s officer team and I wasn’t reselected to be a member.

I’m pretty upset about this- do you think I’d have any chance of regaining a spot if I talked to the president? The club is entirely student-run (the teacher advisor doesn’t really do anything) so that’s the only person I could talk to. The new presidents/VPs chose the new officer team so I can’t really talk to last year’s. I’m just really determined to get back on the board and I don’t feel like I deserved to get kicked off- I did a lot for the club last year and participated to the fullest extent.

Elections are different from club to club. To be a officer in our club you must fill a set amount of requirements and must reach the require 45 officer hours by the end of the year. I was VP before becoming President, so the day of elections I took control over the club and broke a tie for the VP position. All other position were appointed by the club’s vote. Try talking to the President and Advisor!
