Kinesiology a good idea?

Hey there. I just finished my Freshman year at UMass in pretty good shape. I got both my Bios, Calcs, and one Chem done.

As of now I am a Biology major, but I've done a lot of thinking and I think I want to change it to Kinesiology. I have signed up for next semester and as of now I'm taking Chem2, Anatomy1, Kinesiology100, and a few other electives. The problem with all this is that I am Pre-Dental and I dont know if being Kinesiology will look good or be very helpful.

My DD has friends who have done Kiniesiology and it does seem to lack respect in the med school app track as the courses are non-science, DD took Kin courses in her study abroad and found them to be very interesting and give a lot of info that she finds correlates to her med school interests. But, many people seem to view kiniesiology as some sort of PE major, so you’d better talk with some pre-med advisors
