most scholarships listed on fastweb are very competitive. Some unless your stats are stellar, then I'd steer clear. If you tell me your stats and ethnicity, then I may get something for you.

I've got a good hook so all I need are good scholarships...

ur better off going under some big-name companies and searching for scholarships...

that's how I found coca-cola and toyota scholarships (both valued at 20,000 or 10,000)

you can google a company... for example: best buy scholarships

try it with a few big companies -- wal mart has one, target has one, waldbaums might have one, shop rite (etc. etc.) -- they usually have the big big big bucks

well unless you're ridiculously smart, as someone else said, then you're probably not going to get the big company scholarships. the scholarships people have a real shot at are those that are local (go to your school/community organizations and ask) and those that are through the parents (your parent's company 9/10 times has scholarships). other than that, just search the web for scholarships of your ethnicity and in kentucky, perhaps try to aim for your particular county. and don't lose hope...i applied to 10 scholarships, thought i was getting nothing, and then ended up getting about 2800 so far. the two scholarships i got - local.
