Just in case.

There are none. All schools will ask for a transcript at least.

lol, yea. How would they know if you are in high school.....

Some universities in the UK do not require high school diploma to enroll in a bachelor's program if you are a MATURE STUDENT. Mature students are those who are 21 years old and above and have noteworthy job experience. But even if they're lenient with admission requirements, they would still require you to submit your school records and they would still want to know the last school you've attended.

The University of Washington does not ask for a transcript unless you are homeschooled, an international student, or an athlete. I think they request one after you're admitted.

Why would people be stressing out about HS grades if they could easily walk into an elite school? There are some good schools that don't require SATs though (Bates, etc.).

Maybe he wants to apply to a few schools over break and doesn't have access to his school, thus his transcripts.

Smart, Walt99, smart ;)

Howabout just schools that don't require any recommendations?

mkt16a17, uh Purdue and Rutgers doesn't require recommendations =]

I would think a lot of schools (public ones) would request transcripts, if necessary, later on, and nothing else before January. I guess I was wrong?

Well, Case Western has no fee if you apply online. And they have a Feb deadline if I recall correctly. So you'd still have time to get the transcripts and profile sent out. And, since they use the common app, they would merely want the same letters you already had written for you.

More generally, for a list of schools with free online applications: http://www.porcelina.net/freeapps/general.html

You'd have to check the other deadlines/requirements on their respective admissions websites though.

many state schools don't ask for recs, ones i can say for sure are University of Illinois and Indiana University.

University of Illinois actually discourages the sending of recs.

Emory only requires a counselor's rec, no teacher recs. You're allowed to submit up to two teacher recs though.

University of Washington doesn't require you to send in anything but SATs. I second that option.
