Knox college class of 2021

Does Knox provide additional aid if we ask more ?

Just asking for more? No. You can ask them to relook at your finances to see if there was a mistake made or if you have some outstanding issues like medical bills. Did you run the Net Price Calculator first to see what the expected offer would be?

I am an international student and received around 27000 worth of aid but it’s still is gonna be expensive for me. please suggest me as to what should I do. Thank you

Sure, you can ask. It helps, of course, if you have leverage–say, a better award from Beloit or Cornell C. (or whatever other schools you received acceptances from). It depends on the institution, of course, and that institution’s FA office. I graduated from Knox in ‘97, so I am not aware of the current situation, but a school can sometimes improve aid (increase scholarship money/find additional scholarship money) depending on how much money they have left (remember, they are trying to meet lots of students’ need) and whether or not losing your decision to enroll is important to them or not. It can also depend what kind of applicant you are.

Search around on the board. There are stories from others where FA offices have improved the aid packages, sometimes slightly and sometimes quite a bit.

Feedback from a current Knox student/applicant who is going through/gone through the process would help.
