<p>Pros and cons of the Kogod business program at American?</p>
<p>My d. is in it (concentration in accounting, double major in international service planned.) Really, that is what is special, and different about the Kogod program - its integrative international emphasis (one-third of faculty are from abroad), and encouragement of interdisciplinary study. Her Kogod advisor has helped her plot out her double major, complete with four years of Arabic, and likely a semester abroad.</p>
<p>So far, so good.</p>
<p>Oh, the other thing that is distinct are the tremendous during-term internship opportunities.</p>

my d is IR major/marketing minor(Kogod). she's very impressed with business profs, and this was never an intended course of study for her. as mini has said, internship opportunities are limitless. she's done a marketing one early at AU.</p>
