<p>What's is Kresge like to live in? I love everything about it, except that I heard it is sort of isolated and less social than other places. Is this true? My other top choice is Porter. Is Porter better?

I can’t tell you if Porter is better. It’s entirely a matter of perspective. Lots of students dislike Crown but I live there and I love it, sooo. :P</p>
<p>Yeah someone I know who is going to be a sophomore totally hated crown. This year they are moving to kresge for more fun.</p>

<p>So, can you move colleges easily, or it is more of a “once you choose it, it’s set in stone” kind of deal. Like could I spend a year at one college, and then transfer somewhere else the next?</p>
<p>You can move colleges, but it’s not the easiest thing. You can transfer mid-year also. You have to have a decent reason. Like your social circle is in another college and you want to live with them next year.</p>
<p>Kresge is completely isolated and without any social life whatsoever. If you want to be in the middle of everything, transfer to Merrill.</p>
