Kresge

Anyone know anything about it?

I'm assigned to there, so I wanted some other info bescides the bascics.

anyone?

did you put kresge as your first choice?

Yeah. All I wanted to say was yeah but this thing made me type more.

I hate KRESGE. too many rich kids from MARIN trying to play it off like they are from SF, Berkley, or humboldt.

ok sweet. Does anyone in kresge have any info?

Here's some news for you: Kresge is not the only college on campus with rich kids from Marin. They're everywhere, same as rich kids from L.A. and rich kids from San Diego, and they populate College 9 to Stevenson. There are also middle income kids and lower income kids from all over. It's a diverse campus, for the most part.

I lived in the Kresge apartments this past year. I LOVED it! The community is amazing. Forget making friends with your roommate and a few hallmates in the dorms- in Kresge, every building is friends with each other. Seriously. I can't speak for the people who will be living there next year, but I think in general Kresge people are friendly and eager to create community. Apartment living is great, if you like to cook or have people over. Try having 25 people hanging out casually in a dorm room. It just doesn't work. Having 7 housemates sounds like a lot but really it just provides you with a home base as they are the first people you become close with, usually. My housemates turned into my best friends.

I think you'll enjoy Kresge...

p.s. There are NO hippies in Kresge, except the people who run the Kresge Co-op. If you want hippies go to the trailer park, or the forest.
