Actually I keep checking back on this thread for schools to avoid
Never understood how people think it’s impossible to keep grades up if you party. One or two three hour party a week isn’t going to plummet you from summa cum laude to failing. Everyone should have a work-life balance, and if part of that balance is partying, as long as it’s not out of control, there shouldn’t be any shame involved! (Of course, if your idea of balance involves reading, chess club, poetry…no shame in that either).
^ a party school doesn’t mean a 2-3hour party once or twice a week.
If you need more explanation it can be provided.
“I was born at night, just not last night”
By the time a student finishes Oxford College of Emory University and moves on to the main campus, their alcohol tolerance is typically quite high.
As long as students restrict their partying to the weekends, I don’t see a party school as a problem, provided there are other outlets for students who wish to stay sober.
-Colorado College
-Grinell College
-University of Richmond
-Wake Forest University
@newjerseygirl98 is Grinnell really one?
Yes.
@transfer1313 I’ve heard there’s several end-of-week parties, but not raging options everyday.
You should also look at Tulane. Known for great academics but also a lot of fun from what I understand!
Dang, @Lindagaf, I was right there with ya, and my kid’s school just popped up. Just glad it wasn’t one of the ones listed first.
