I've applied to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for a major in physics and a minor in computer science. Both of those areas I've taken as high as my high school offers and I've got A's all the way through. I took the hardest schedule I could put together last year (2 AP and 2 honors 7 classes total). I passed the AP U.S. History test with a 4 and this year I took a slightly more difficult schedule (3 AP 2 honors 7 classes total). I've taken four years of Spanish and I ran cross-country for three years. My grades show a steady increase however last semester last year I had 3 B's but the rest were A's. I've taken the highest my high school offers in Math, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. My weighted GPA right now is a 3.99 I believe. My class rank is like 21 of 428. My concern is my ACT score. I got a 29 in Math a 28 in English a 21 Reading and a 20 Science for a composite of 25. My essay was a 24.

That's what I'm worried about because according to statistics from last year, the students admitted to the U of M Institute of Technology with ACT scores between 24-27 is only 25%.

I really don't know my chances of getting into this school and I'm really anxious. Anyone think they can give me a good estimate?

Thanks,
