I want to start a lacrosse team at my school ( there's only a boy's team). I quit both swim and soccer my junior year because of my grades. Will colleges not like the fact that i quit them (no consistency) and that i all of a sudden randomly made a lacrosse team at my school?

AND.....i am interested in starting lacrosse, do colleges look for lacrosse players? (especially usc) or do they just scout for like the main sports...(soccer, swim, football)

HELP ME! my grades suck, so do my sat scores...and i think this is the only impressive thing that will be on my college apps....if i make this happen. please help me...!

The Duke team needs a few good players.

For USC: http://www.usclacrosse.com/recruit.html

From the website:

NOTE:Lacrosse is a club sport at the University of Southern California and therefore carries no weight in the application process. Filling out this form only informs the team of your interest in playing should you be accepted to the university.

well though you playing lax for usc might not be a factor, you STARTING a team would be impressive, to say the least. leadership qualities, perseverance, etc. good stuff. do it, and maybe your grades will even go UP (bc you will have to manage your time better)
