LACs

What are those LACs with spendid bio major? Thanks for answering..

Amherst Swat Williams HAVERFORD and try UChicago

Also, Pomona, Hamilton, Colgate, Carleton, Harvey Mudd, Wesleyan, and Middlebury.

UChicago is not a LAC. If interested in good biology programs with good campus life try Williams, Holy Cross, Bowdoin or Amherst.

if you want to go to med school, holy cross has one of the best placements in the country. they have zero grade inflations, you really have to earn your B's there, and graduate schools and internships know it

How about Colby, Reed and MHC?

Williams has very good science department

Grinnell has an interesting bio dept. It involves more fieldwork. They have a prairie to use for ecology and stuff too.

I believe Bowdoin is good in Biology.

Thanks for all of you.

How about the univerisities? besides Harvard, Johns Hopkins, UChicago..

Yale's bioengineering program is quite good. Stanford's is exceptional. Also look at Brown, Duke, Columbia, CMU, Northwestern, Rice, Case Western, Illinois, Michigan, Lehigh, Rochester, for starters.

UCSanDiego is great and improving..possibly best in CA...Hard for an out of state student to get in.

I would add Denison to the list of LACs.

Thanks a lot............

You asked about Reed. Another thread said Reed's bio program was awesome. You might check it out further.
