I was recently denied admission to the Graphic Design program here, but offered admission to the Landscape Architecture major. I was curious what this major’s focus is on? I will be visiting soon but in the meantime I’m curious what jobs I can look forward to with this degree, and how rigorous the courses are. I didn’t see too much information on the website, so I thought I’d ask you guys. Thanks!
Oh, one of my best friends got this degree and now works as a landscape architect in NYC. She LOVES her job, she has one of the highest degrees of career satisfaction of all the people I know. She designs, and sees over the implementation of, roof gardens/sustainable green walls, that sort of thing.
@JenJenJenJen that’s good to hear! My first choice was environmental science and policy, then my second choice for admission was graphic design, so this may be the perfect combo of both of my passions!
