Language Courses (especially Japanese)

I plan on studying Japanese, but I have a few questions (I asked the same questions for another school as well).

1) How intensive is the East Asian Studies curriculum at TCNJ? If you could state what courses you are taking at the moment, that would be great as well.

2) What are the study abroad programs like? I looked at the website, and it has information about an affiliation with Sophia University, a university in Japan that I have always thought about studying at.

3) What are the teachers like (in any of the classes, including culture and language classes)? Especially for Japanese language, what text books are used?

4) Is it easy to find opportunities to use the language (Japanese, Korean, Chinese), like finding native speakers, local towns with large concentrations of people who speak the language, stores, restaurants, malls, businesses, internships, anything. For example, my sibling at Cornell University has fairly large classes in which only Japanese is spoken, but he also has friends, a local eating establishment, and close teachers to practice the language.
I know that there are an endless amount of places around Jersey with Japanese/Korean/Chinese stores, shopping centers, and restaurants, so that should not be a problem to hunt down lol

ive got a good friend taking japanese, we will actually be offering an intensive japanese and a few other languages course that is 8 credits and is 2 classes in one. from what i know the teachers are pretty good and its pretty intensive

I know someone who studied abroad in Japan via TCNJ and absolutely loved it. Apparently the program itself is pretty intensive and really helps you learn to speak the language. Also, yea Jersey has a lot of places you can practice Japanese. Jersey people love their sushi!
