SFS admission question

Does it look good if a student took two languages in HS, even if they aren't fluent in one (by the end of HS)? I have taken Spanish since freshman year, (will start Spanish 3 in the fall), with straight A's. I'm considering taking French starting next year too.

I want to apply for SFS my senior year....

Also, do you recommend applying for the accelerated BS/MA at Georgetown, or applying for/completing a BS at SFS, then going elsewhere for a master's?

Thanks

With second languages, it’s about opportunity cost. Certainly, pursuing another language can be beneficial from the standpoint of demonstrating interest in foreign cultures, international affairs, etc. But it’s also going to depend on what you’re foregoing in order to take that language.

I did one of the BSFS/MA programs and it was absolutely the right choice for me. I recommend it as an option, but obviously, everyone’s cost-benefit analyses are going to be different.
