Is it a good idea to bring your laptop to orientation? Would it be useful?

i went last week, and i don’t think it would be that useful. you’re pretty busy during the 2 days. there’s some downtime, so if you want to use your laptop then, you could. i didn’t see anyone with one though :o

my roommate brought his, and we didnt really use it too much… so it’s not necessary.

I brought mine to orientation. It was helpful the night before. I took some time before I went to bed to look at some different classes, map out some possible schedules, and look up some professors to read about them and also what students say about them.

So I would recommend it, but you won’t have any other time to use it except at 12:30 am after the first day… haha

Don’t bring it. The last thing you want is a laptop to even think about. You’ll be really busy at orientation. And down time should be spent meeting people.

It could be useful for College182’s reasons, but looking into classes and professors and configuring possible schedules should be done before getting to orientation because then you have more time.
