<p>It’s the old model, but looks like a couple hundred in discounts? I know this isn’t really a “deal”. I saw a flier once listing many models, but don’t remember which at what price point. Maybe someone else will have more info.</p>
<p>I went to the student store today and took a look at their laptops. They’re really not very good deals at all. You could get better deals from costco.
Also, there is a site which lurks the internet in search of the best tech deals, and I often see amazing laptops there. It’s called dealnews.com
Though, if you get it at the bookstore, you’re supporting the school, which is cool.</p>
<p>also amazon.com sometimes has very good deals if you registered for Amazon Student and have free shipping. Since no sales tax is charged, it can be cheaper than the student discount price in Costco, student store, etc once the tax is piled on.</p>
