<p>All undergrads are theoretically required to purchase a laptop that complies with the Carolina Computing Initiative requirements, which includes a Windows OS requirement. </p>
<p>However, you can meet this requirement with Windows installed on your Mac laptop via Parallels or Bootcamp. I don't know specifically about business classes, but my impression is that the only real problems arise when scientific equipment requires a PC card slot and that in almost all cases buying a Mac would be fine. (Not sure about Linux -- but you could probably make it work.)</p>
