I'm currently debating between getting a Mac or a PC for college. I've heard pros and cons when it comes to both laptops. Is either laptop preferred over the other in Electrical Engineering classes at UCSD?

You will see people with both Mac’s and PC’s. In a lot of engineering classes people don’t even use laptops because they write down a lot of equations, and it is easier to take notes on paper- but not necessarily. I would go with a PC though.

A fast computer would be optimal for an engineer.
8gb RAM +
500gb hard drive
A fast processor like an i7 processor would be good
Do some research , but this would be the minimum for a good laptop.
Screen size, brand, speakers, etc is up to you.
