<p>hey...yea....just throwing this question out there...i'll be going to college soon lol....which is more effective and just better in general? a laptop or a desktop?</p>
<p>Why a laptop?
-you can take it with you - if you want to work in the library, go home for a weekend or whatever
-takes up less space in your dorm room</p>
<p>Why a desktop?
-you get more computer for your money
-it's less likely to get stolen
-if you want to work someone else there are computer centers in many campus buildings (depending on the school)</p>
<p>There's no one right or wrong answer</p>
<p>if you get a laptop you cant show off your ub3r 1337 sk1llz in gaming. Laptops are far more beneficial in my opinon and definitely make things much easier.</p>
