Recommendations:
Should be decent, I got one from my research mentor

Schools that I will apply to:
Early - MIT, Caltech
Regular - Stanford, Princeton, Berkeley out of state, Carnegie Mellon

ok anyway, ye decent chances, although you're a generic asian applicant, you are good. I think as long as you have strong essays/recs, you should be in at least MIT or CIT. USAMO is good.

USAMO and USNCO aren't really hooks. many asian males have that. I'm a recruited athlete and I even have USAMO. (asian by the way) but you should still have a good shot at MIT or Caltech

God, I feel inadequate right now looking at all that (I'm a gringo, though). I'm fairly certain that MIT isn't out of reach for you - and that's me being pessimistic.
I'm planning on applying to MIT also. My resume isn't anywhere near that impressive, but I'm sure I'll be somewhat considered.

Question is, have you already began applying? I think the Early application deadline is either November 1 or 15 for most of the 'prestigious' schools. Also, are you sure it's orthodox to apply to both MIT and CalTech under Early Decision.

sounds gooodddd... i would kill for that kind of award list.
my school is stupid and we dont have competitions..

=]
the only thing though, that i could say, is the whole sterotypical asian male kick ass at math and science thing (though CALTECH is NOTORIOUS for being a score whore) and that you should find a way to clean up all your ECS before putting them down so they dont seem so confusing

if caltech and MIT are reach for you, there's no hope for me.....
I thnk you have really good chance at both schools...agree that u'll be in at least one of the two...

I'd say in at Caltech, since their admissions process seems to be much more predictable than other similarly competitive schools -- if you're really good at math/science, and you're not a complete jerk or something, you'll probably get in.

MIT seems harder to predict, though I'd say your chances are really good. USAMO and Siemens is a really nice combo.

Heh, if you don't mind, could you offer some advice to me on what schools to apply? I have very similar interests (would love to go to MIT), though I'm now mostly aiming for less competitive schools. Here's my thread:
