Last Chance Thread... Help me out!

<p>I am a South Asian international from Canada who does not need financial aid. Most of the universities i talked to say that internationals, who do not need any aid, stand at a same chance of getting accepted as nationals. I am applying to the college of arts and sciences.</p>

<p>If you’re looking at emory i think you have an awesome shot. I had a friend who got in with a 2090, his GPA was higher than yours though, so you might want to try and improve that your last semester. Try and volunteer more just to pad your resume, otherwise I think you are good to go. Good luck let us know how you do!</p>

<p>emory, u chicago, and vandy are all reaches. I would say that rice and cmu are high matches. I think you’re in to all the others</p>

<p>As far as I know, while many US publics hand out A’s like candy, average gpa’s are much lower in Canada. so i think 3.6 is fine as long as you are in the top 10% of your class.</p>

<p>EC’s seem thin. you have positions and memberships but it’s questionable how much you actually did.</p>
