<p>Now that all my scores are in, here are my stats:</p>

<p>CA resident
Asian Male
Upper-middle class family</p>

<p>UC/CSU/Weighted a-g GPA: 3.75
Class rank: 134/673
Best ACT: 28 Comp/29 Writing/8 Essay
Best SAT II: 640 Math IIc, 580 Literature
AP Tests: none</p>

<p>38 semesters of a-g coursework
One Honors course Soph year, one Jr year, two AP courses Sr year (4 semesters 10-11th, 6 semesters total)
Upwards trend, sorta. Big increase in gpa from Freshman year to Soph year. Lowers somewhat during Junior year but still much better than before</p>

<p>Principal's Honor Roll
37 hours community service almost all dedicated to helping the mentally ill
Full list of ECs, but no leadership and sports were run by city rather than by the school. Main EC was music.</p>

<p>Main essay based on music, another on physics (also ties into one of my ECs), and one of a family struggle. It did have an affect on my Jr year grades, but I didn't want to try to make an excuse out of it</p>

<p>the only thing that going to be hard is your stereotypical asian/science profile... they already got a lot of those so try to stand out in your essays</p>
