I am a high school senior, and I’m about to take the ACT for the last time;
how can I go from a 26 to a 30+?? I have a book to study out of but are there any more tips / tricks I can use to get a better score within 4 weeks…
Focus your approach for improvements in September then spend 5 more weeks prior to October doing even more work. DON’T stop with September!
Study, study, study! When it comes to the ACT, all you have to do is beat the test, but to do that, you have to know the test inside and out. So work out of your book, and be sure to get your hands on as many practice tests as you can. Take the tests with the proper time constraints, and circle every problem you’re unsure of. Then, after you’ve checked your work, go back to every problem missed and every problem circled. Be sure to clear up why you missed it or what confused you.
I know that this isn’t exactly a last minute tip, but if you want to improve 4+ points, this is about what it takes. Like midtntutor said, you don’t have to stop in September. Depending on the college’s application deadline, you can continue taking ACTs until December.
THANK YOU!!
