Last minute chances?

I’m almost done with my final application (cutting it close, I know) and I’m now just looking for some unbiased, honest opinions on my chances at the schools I applied to. I know to take responses with a grain of salt, but I’d love to hear some insights as I begin my (not so) patient waiting for the decisions to roll in.

  • Demographics White Female Medium/Large Public School in MA (town known for school system, pretty competitive HS) Top 10% of class (HS doesn't report rank or percentiles, but my GC told me this at one of our meetings this year) Decent income (money will still be a factor when picking a school because vet school is $$$)
  • Intended Major/Career Applied to Animal Science where it was available, Biology at all other schools I'm pre-vet :)
  • SAT 1st Sitting: 1440 (720 math, 720 reading) 2nd Sitting: 1560 (790 math, 760 reading)
  • SAT Subject Tests Biology (M): 800 Math Level 2: 760
  • ACT (only sent to UCs, Cornell, Stanford) 34 composite, one sitting
  • GPA My school doesn't calculate UW GPA W GPA: around 4.2
  • APs (no score = senior year course) Biology (5), Chemistry, Calculus AB, APES
  • Courseload/Grades Took all honors classes available all 4 years (except history lol rip) No B's or lower anywhere on my transcript Very slight/steady upward trend in GPA each year (no crazy jumps, but nothing went down lol)
  • ECs -Junior Olympic softball team since I was 9 years old
  • JV Softball (9), Varsity Softball (10-12)
  • JV Volleyball (9-11)
  • Club Volleyball Captain (9-10)
  • Coached youth softball/basketball throughout high school
  • Volunteer at dog shelter (70+ hours in the past year)
  • Active member of school's new animal rights club (11-12)
  • NHS (11-12; my school's NHS is only available to upperclassmen) + secretary (12)
  • Summer job scooping ice cream (11-12)
  • Fall/Winter/Spring job as a hostess (11)
  • Accepted/attended a competitive 2 week supper program at Tufts Veterinary School this summer
  • Awards/Recognition Some school/state/national level awards for high school athletics while maintaining good grades Two of my history research papers were published in my 11th grade history teacher's journal 3 National Latin Exam Silver Medals; 1 Magna Cum Laude
  • Rec Letters AP Biology Teacher - she LOVED me and I loved her, super well qualified/successful/smart, mentioned her in some of my supplements about how she helped me realize my love for the life sciences 11th Grade History Teacher - he loved me too & published me in his journal Counselor - eh. big school, doesn't know me too well
  • Essays Common App - unique topic, showed my love for learning, animals, and creativity, really well written Supplements - some were better than others, but I tried my best on all of them & I'm a decent writer I think
  • Strengths: test scores, known what I've wanted to do since I was 5?
  • Weaknesses: I didn't take as many APs as I could have, no crazy hooks or extraordinary ECs
  • Schools

EA:
UMass Amherst (Accepted w/ honors college + deans scholarship)
Boston College (Accepted w/ 4 years housing → top 15% of accepted)
Rutgers University NB (Accepted)

RD:
UMaryland College Park
UDelaware
UConn
Tufts (double legacy)
UC Davis
UCLA
USC (a dream school)
Cornell (long shot, but another dream school)
Stanford (I have no chance, but it’s been a dream for 6 years so I had to apply)

I also forgot to add that I might end up applying to UNC Chapel Hill so feel free to include that school in my chances.

You’ll almost certainly get into Maryland. Good chance at Tufts, especially as a legacy. UCLA will be tricky out of state, but I think you have a decent shot, probably more likely at USC though where I think you have a very solid chance. Cornell and Stanford seem like reaches because of your lack of unique EC’s. UNC Chapel Hill is incredibly difficult out of state so I’d say it’s a low reach. Good luck! No matter what you’ll go somewhere great. Chance me back? http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/2044226-chances-at-nyu-cas-lsp-ed2-bu-gwu-umiami-and-brandeis-low-gpa.html#latest
