Okay, I just did a CR section and got 7! wrong...I'm getting stumped on some Passage questions..where I narrow it down to 2 and can't seem to pick the correct one..and always seem to get at least 2 wrong in SC. Any advice? Even though I'm following Grammatix method, sometimes I can't eliminate answers because I can't find hard evidence in the text that makes it wrong. Can someone go over some problems with me? THX

Also for Double Long Passages..question where they ask "Both passages imply so and so"..whats an easy way to get these quickly...took me a while and still got it wrong because you have to lookup each answer choice and find info that contradicts it. :-

Just a tip: if you've narrowed it down to two close choices, go with the more general one.

And you shouldn't have to look up hard evidence against each choice. That way, you're bound to end up with two similar choices, one of which is the "best" and the other is just "okay". Try guessing your own answer before looking at what they give you, see which one is closest, and then check for hard evidence against that if you have time.

thx oneo but I realized the strategy I was using all along just isn't working for me..so now I'm just gonna read the passage and answer questions..I feel more confident. But if I do narrow it down to 2 i'll use ur strat.thx man

Have you tried PR's methods for CR? They might work better for you. Definitely easier to spot the wrong answers.

hmm nah I took PR and regret it...
