And I am sure I don't have to remind you of responsibility, you would not be in the small pool you are in.

And I am sure I don't have to remind you of responsibility, you would not be in the small pool you are in.

I'm spending it at my friend's graduation party and smoking a nice cigar.

I'll be in Annapolis that night already... Probably just relaxing. Have a good (but light, to be safe) meal or something.

Yep, going to be with the family in Annapolis. Maybe I'll be able to convince them to add a few extra dollars to the bank account.... :)

I'm driving up 1 JUL 2008 so I'll be spending the night at my Aunt's house about an hour out of Annapolis. That night I'll probably just lay low, catch some Sportscenter, hopefully see one last episode of The Colbert Report, and then hit the rack with a peaceful mind.

With a 0800 reporting time, will already be in Annapolis.

Will spend at least part of the evening watching the U.S. Olympic swimming trials, which will be broadcast for one hour in prime time each night during the meet. The night before I-Day is the first night of the meet, so swimmers should have a nifty memory of their "last night of freedom".

PaulRevere, I'll probably be doing that too.

As per swimming there will be one of your new classmates who directly after the swearing in Ceremony will be whisked away to a jet and flown to the trials. I hear he is a real contender.

Have traded some emails with his dad and have followed some of his career.

hope the little flight off the yard will not attract unwarranted "motivation" from the Cadre.

I'm going to watch the Marine Corps Evening Parade at the memorial in DC the night before. Talk about some heavy motivation.

Doing pushups...

HAHA NO WAY!!

Well actually...

Wait who is this? ChefMike?

Last night in Anchorage my friends will be by my house for a "few" beers courtesy of my parents. After that, it is off to Annapolis where a good meal will be in order before I-day.

haha I agree with you TXinAK. I'm leaving for Annapolis two days early so I'm going to be doing that same thing the last night before I leave.

That's awesome xchefmike, lets hope he represents USNA and the class of 2012 well!

Remember they test for alcohol on I-Day so I would suggest staying away from it.

June 30 I'll be at a friend's grad party saying bye to everyone, then we're flying down July 1st

I'll be in Naptown as well.

I will be having a steak dinner with my family and a cigar with my dad and going to bed early!

spending the weekend before at Hershey Park (family tradition) and the day before in Annapolis - getting good food and relaxing.

"Remember they test for alcohol on I-Day so I would suggest staying away from it."

I don't mean to hijack nor do I condone underage alcohol (ab)use, but as long as you aren't drinking heavily the night before I-Day you shouldn't have any problems with the urine test. A bit of googling should tell you how fast your body will metabolize/excrete ethanol. That being said, I wouldn't risk it either way.

Going to be in DC, just hanging at a family friend's house with the rest of the fam. What's this about a Marine parade?
