Anyone remember any difficulties with the UC online servers that your now-graduated friends had last year? If so, how long was it down for, and did any of them end up not getting it in on time?

With so many people submitting last minute I think it will happen this year if it happened last year. What's the worst that can happen to us if it does? The reason I ask this is because I have to get "proof" of an award tomorrow from my GC.

YES. I have heard sooo many horror stories from alumni from my high school who couldn't submit their applications the last day. There was supposedly one senior last year who tried sending it in the last day and couldn't. Sucks.

Yes, but last year they also extended the deadline for the same amt of time the server shut down. It's easy, don't procrastinate on the biggest paper in your hs career, and you'll be fine.

What about tomorrow? I was planning on turning it today but a lot of things came up on my essays. I did all I could do and now I don't care, I'm turning them in.

Is tomorrow okay though? Like is it normal or does it still run the risk of crashing?

The last few days before the deadline last year the servers were a bit unpredictable. I don't know of any of my daughter's friends that didn't eventually get their applications in, but some of them took a few trys.

little_duck, we will not know. Turn it in ASAP, after checking your application at least once. Last year it crashed does not mean this year it will or it won't.
