Late Admissions

Can someone apply for a university in America (ug) in June after the deadlines have waved GOODBYE ? Like personally going and filling offline forms or something like this

Usually no.

@Ferrari1997

There is a list of schools still accepting applications.

College Openings Update 2015 - NACAC’s

Also, some schools have Winter admission.

You can always call and ask. However it would be either they have room as in above or you are somehow someone they want because you are exceptional in some way or significantly above their statistics or you have some compelling reason why you could not apply earlier

I was first thinking of applying to some UK univs but my parents decided to shift to the US in June.Hope they understand this.
Also,Is Delta state university a good one to go for. It’s the nearest uni where I’ll reside
When I searched for it on net,I found it to be really low

I’ve dropped the idea of delta. Its very very low.
Any good univs in or near StocktonCA

Try University of the Pacific in Stockton or Sacramento State which I believe accept Spring admissions for 2016. UC Davis is nearby but only accepts Fall 2016 admissions.

Thnx

I’m thinking of applying to some universities for spring 2016 admissions(Cause I’ve missed d deadlines for good univs).Majority of the students apply for fall admissions. What’s the reason behind this? And are there any -ve aspects if I apply for spring 2016 ?please let me know whatever u know 'bout this.

Many colleges don’t accept spring semester starts. And I think most students coming out of HS want to just continue school so why would they wait a semester?

So there’s nothing wrong if I apply for spring, right?

No. If you’re trying for some merit aid you’ll have to see if that’s no longer available for you.

Anyone who could suggest the best cc in Stockton or near it?

I don’t want to discourage you, but considering the state of schools in Stockton, it’s likely CC’s there mostly serve as remedial education places, although you could certainly transfer after 2 years. In addition, you’d likely be considered an OOS student, so you’d be stuck with super high fees (especially if after 2 years you’d be aiming for UCs: expect 55K a year).
I’m assuming that, if Delta State is nearby, any CSU is “out of state”.
In addition, if you’re near Delta State, why not look into Ole Miss and Miss State? And expand to various universities/colleges nearby if you don’t like those?
I’ll reiterate what FallenChemist said:

LOTS of good colleges on that list.

Delta is a community college in the Stockton area. CSU Stanislaus is about 45 min south and probably does Spring admission - But, i have to ask, why Stockton?

Deadlines are called deadlines for a reason. The only school still accepting applications are ones that did not fill up through the normal application process. I’d suggest leaving all of your options open and applying for spring or next fall (check out the deadlines now and be prepared to file applications on time).

Actually I’m going to shift there, that’s why I said Stockton. But if there aren’t any “very good” ccs there,I am surely ready to try somewhere outside it (like Modesto,Sacramento, etc)Just the college should be really good.Any Suggestions for this?

Okay I thought op meant Delta State, the university in MS that’s almost open enrollment.
