I learned that my school did not get mid-year reports out until March 2nd or 3rd. They were sent by US Mail. We did not know there was an issue; they didn't tell us that the new SIS system wasn't working. Has this already negatively affected my application? What can I do now to correct this? It wasn't my counselor's fault; the fault lies with the Superintendent's office and our School Board. They knew the SIS wasn't working as long ago as last summer, but continued to try to "patch" it when it clearly has major problems!

I am hoping that my application wasn't put in an "incomplete" pile and not considered.

Hey collegerunner,

W&M would probably have contacted you iif there was a problem. WM Admissions wil probably give you official answer tomorrow, but that would be my guess. And you can always contact Admissions on Monday and explain everything :)

Your application is not considered incomplete if we don’t have your mid-semester grades. No doubt you received an email from us in January or February that let you know your application was complete and ready for review.

If we didn’t have your mid-semester grades and felt we needed them to make a decision, we simply would have called your counselor and gotten them by fax or phone so no worries.

Thank you, Skydancer and W&M. I will try to relax now.

We know it’s a stressful time collegerunner but the process will be over in the weeks and months to come.

Good luck.
