Late Midyear Report!

On the website, it says that “the Midyear Report must be submitted no later than February 15.” I requested that my guidance counselor send it a few days before this deadline, but I checked with her last week & she said that she didn’t send it until Feb. 24! I saw this on the website also: “Stanford reserves the right to evaluate an application and render a final decision even if all pieces of the application have not been received.”

Is this gonna affect my decision badly? I know that the midyear report is a required application component. Would they still consider it even though they received it late?

Do not worry. The midyear report’s slight tardiness will not be the “determining” factor in your decision outcome…rather, the rest of your application, essays, recommendations, extracurricular prowess, and last, but not least, the “contents” of your midyear report…

Well, if you are an auto admit, it won’t matter, and mid year usually won’t matter if you have strong previous grades, they will just assume that you maintained it, I mean if you are achieving 4.00 gpa out of 4, what more can they expect of you, 4.5 out of 4 ? lol.
