My guidance counselor sent in my transcripts 1 day late. I got an email confirming that it was submitted, but when I check my status on the website, it says that the transcripts have not been processed. Does anyone think they'll accept it since it wasn't my fault. By the way, he said he attached a letter explaining why it was late.

the same thing happened to me. My Secondary School Report was received on Jan 14, 2 WEEKS after the deadline, and it says that my transcripts havent been processed ,although it says that all other documents have been received. I heard that documents received after the deadline are not given priority, and that applications submitted after the deadline are considered on a "space available" basis only, i.e. they consuder your application if space is available after accepting all the applicants who applied before the deadline

Relax. They aren't going to penalize you for something that isn't your fault. And it's 1 day. They don't even start reviewing the applications until in committee until late February or early March.

On that basis, I'm not sure why you'd insinuate that you "heard" something about Columbia.

Haha, yeah, I hope they do consider it, I think I'm just going to call and explain that it really wasn't my fault. The only reason I'm afraid is they have not processed it yet.
