I don't know if my counselor submitted the Secondary School Report, but on myMIT it says it hasn't been processed. I can't get a hold of my counselor until Jan. 8 due to winter vacations. I understand that MIT is lenient with school forms being turned in later, but what is the latest that MIT will accept late school forms?

MIT is flexible with school forms, just not the application itself. You’ll be fine :)

At this time of year, it is not unusual to take 2-3 weeks for MyMIT to be updated once your forms arrive at the office. If your counselor did send the forms, then there is no need to worry that they do not appear in your tracking yet.

If not, that’s also fine. If you had the forms sent when you return to school, that would not be an issue.

Around the end of January or so.

Most likely, as everyone says, your school forms are at MIT, waiting to be sorted. If your forms aren’t there (they were lost in the mail or something), you will be notified when MIT is done with the mail sorting, and will have the opportunity to send them again.

Thanks so much for the info, now I can relax. Greetings and Happy New Years.
